Monochrome Amor

Monochrome Amor

Finding Inspiration Together

When Kainaz reached out after watching my black and white floral painting reel on Instagram, I could feel her excitement about the delicate contrasts and simple elegance of the monochrome florals. It's always special when someone connects so deeply with your art across the digital divide.

Our Creative Journey

I love beginning new projects by sharing possibilities, so I prepared a thoughtful presentation of complementary florals alongside the bloom that first caught Kainaz's eye. As we exchanged ideas and inspirations, what started as a single painting blossomed into something more, a beautiful triptych that told a fuller story of nature's grace.

The Final Piece

Each bloom in the collection reveals its own personality, the stately Lily, the expressive Poppy, and the graceful Tulips, all glowing with luminous detail against deep, velvety backgrounds. When Kainaz suggested gold frames instead of my original black recommendation, I knew her intuition was spot on. The warmth of the gold embracing these monochrome beauties created magic.

Created With Care

I handcrafted each piece using professional grade cold-pressed Arches 300GSM paper and Holbein pigments, along with Chinese Ink for the velvety soft black background.

Time Taken

4–5 weeks including reference finalisation, painting each piece, and framing the final artworks.

In Kainaz's Words: "Lovely work and I cannot thank you enough! I am in awe of what you have created. I want more now!"
