There are days I paint only for myself.

That day, a song called Icy Violence by Sad Night Dynamite had me completely hooked. I wanted to make something that felt like it but what does icy and violent actually look like? I thought of winter. Then I thought of leaves under a winter moon.

That is where it landed.

A branch of blue leaves, glowing. Calm, not fierce. The violence is in the cold… the kind that stills everything it touches.

Painted in a notebook, which is why this exists only as a limited edition archival print. Not a compromise, just a different kind of origin.
