Love Letter · Silent Conversations · Original Watercolour
I came across an image of flowers in monotone and it made me feel something I could not immediately name. So I decided to find out.
The choice of pigment was deliberate… nothing loud. Schmincke's Volcano Brown, a granulating pigment that, when mixed with water, leaves behind hidden colours on the paper. A trail you did not plan for, and cannot fully control. It felt right for what I was trying to capture.
Withering, but holding on.
I named it Love Letter because that is what it felt like, the kind that stays in a drawer long after the feeling has passed. Present and gone at the same time.
