Ruby Garden · Silent Conversations · Original Watercolour
Wet-on-wet is my favourite and this piece is why.
The practice was simple: wet the paper, add paint, and step back. What happened next was not planned. Yellow bloomed into blue and became a deep, dark green. A tulip field appeared where I had not drawn one. The textures that formed as the paint dried were something I could not have designed.
That day I learnt to let go.
The ruby reds and emerald greens have a quiet richness to them, the feeling of something growing undisturbed. Sits naturally in a reading nook, a meditation corner, anywhere that holds still.
*Colours may vary due to lighting sources.
